Introduction… I am an inclusive, down to earth therapist who will celebrate your authentic self. It is so important to me that I create a sense of humility, curiosity, and ease for you to be your authentic self! I am employed by HoneyB Wellness a person-centered mental health practice.
Credentials… I received my Master's in Advanced Clinical Social Work from Columbia University. I received my Bachelors of Art Degree from Saint Michael’s College, VT. I completed research at University of Cambridge, King's College. I have a certificate in Clinical Sports Social Work from University of Michigan and Somatic Stress Release Certificate from Embody Lab. I am a member of the Anxiety & Depression Association of America, and of Athlete for Hope Alliance.
Expertise… Most of my work is with students, professionals, survivors, & athletes. I use an individualized and eclectic approach while focusing on anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, ADHD, and sports psychology. I incorporate elements from Psychodynamic Therapy, CBT, ACT, Narrative, Parts Work & Somatic Practices for a holistic therapeutic approach.
Populations… For individual therapy, I work with ages 12+, including adolescents, teenagers, young adults, and adults. I also work with children younger than 12 on a case by case basis.
Experience… Prior to private practice, I worked in the criminal legal system, public schools, and behavioral health clinics providing mental health treatment.
Advocacy… I am also a former college student athlete who is both professionally and personally passionate about athlete mental health. I am a mental health advocate, racial justice advocate, trauma survivors advocate, gender equity advocate, criminal justice reform advocate, and athlete health advocate.
And for the fun stuff… I love pilates, cooking, walks with my dog, and binge watching New Girl! I am an INFJ (Advocate) personality type!
