The logistics, with transparency—so you know exactly what to expect
We offer individual, couples, and family therapy, ADHD assessments, EMDR, consultations for therapists, and trainings for organizations. Each service is designed to be practical, supportive, and tailored to your specific needs.
We're a therapist-founded, women-owned practice that prioritizes personalized, person-centered care. We're intentionally not a large corporation—so we can truly take the time to understand you and provide support that feels thoughtful, individualized, and grounded in genuine care.
A brief, no-pressure, no-cost call where you can ask questions and get a sense of fit. We'll talk through what you're looking for and how you'd like to move forward with scheduling.
We are intentionally out-of-network to protect your privacy and allow for more autonomy in your care. Insurance companies often require diagnoses, access to notes, and can place limits on treatment—which doesn't always align with our person-centered, trauma-informed approach.
Out-of-network care allows for more individualized, flexible support. Many clients have benefits that can cover a portion of session costs (often 50–70%, depending on your plan), and we're happy to help you check your coverage and estimate your costs.
Thrizer helps simplify out-of-network reimbursement. It's completely optional, but many clients find it makes care more accessible. Depending on your benefits, you may receive faster reimbursement or only pay a copay upfront if your deductible is met.
That's a common experience. The right therapist, approach, and timing can make a big difference. At our practice, we take a personalized, practical approach to therapy to help you find what actually feels helpful and meaningful.
This can be client-dependent! Generally, therapy is both a space to talk and a place to build practical tools. We focus on helping you process experiences while also developing strategies you can use in your day-to-day life and toward your long-term goals. What that looks like can vary depending on your needs, goals, and honestly—even the day—which is why our approach is always individualized.
There's no one-size-fits-all answer. It depends on your schedule, comfort level, and what helps you feel most supported. Some clients choose in-person for structure, others choose virtual for flexibility—and many use a mix of both.
We are based in Baltimore, Maryland, where we offer in-person therapy sessions. We also provide virtual therapy across Maryland, Washington, DC, and Virginia. Some of our therapists are licensed in additional states—for example, Hallie is also licensed in Colorado.
This work is practical, collaborative, and tailored to your needs. We focus on real-world application—not just information—so you leave with tools, clarity, and strategies that feel realistic and sustainable.
We are an out-of-network practice, allowing for greater privacy, flexibility, and individualized care. We provide superbills for potential reimbursement, and many clients receive partial coverage depending on their plan—often around 50–70% of the session cost.
If you share your insurance card, date of birth, and full name, we can help check your benefits and estimate your costs. We also offer Thrizer as an optional tool that simplifies out-of-network reimbursement and, depending on your benefits, may allow you to only pay a copay upfront if your deductible has been met.
