One of the most meaningful parts of growing Welling Wellness has been building a team of clinicians who each bring their own strengths, perspectives, and personalities into the work.
When I started Welling Wellness, I wanted to create more than just a group practice. I wanted to create a space where clients could find thoughtful, authentic therapy — and where clinicians could show up as their full selves while providing meaningful care.
As we have grown, I have been intentional about building a team of therapists who not only bring strong clinical skills, but who also embody the values at the heart of our practice: compassion, authenticity, curiosity, inclusivity, and genuine connection.
That is exactly what I see in Angie Rusek.
Angie brings such warmth and positive energy to Welling Wellness. She is one of those people who naturally makes others feel comfortable, welcomed, and at ease. Beyond being an incredible clinician, Angie is genuinely a kind and caring person — someone who brings thoughtfulness and compassion into every interaction.
That quality is something that cannot be taught. It is part of who Angie Rusek is, and it is one of the many reasons she is such a meaningful part of our practice.
Angie has a natural ability to create a therapy space where clients feel safe being honest, exploring their experiences, and showing up exactly as they are. She understands that therapy is built on trust and connection, and she prioritizes creating a relationship where clients feel supported and understood.
One of Angie’s greatest strengths is the way she sees the whole person in front of her. She recognizes that people are shaped by their experiences, relationships, challenges, values, and the moments that have brought them to where they are today.
Angie brings a warm, collaborative, and person-centered approach to therapy. As a therapist offering in-person therapy in Federal Hill, Baltimore, and virtual therapy throughout Maryland, she supports adults, young adults, and couples navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, communication difficulties, life transitions, and personal growth.
For couples, Angie supports partners strengthen communication, better understand each other’s perspectives, navigate challenges, and build deeper connections. For individuals, she provides a supportive space to explore emotions, patterns, and experiences while helping clients develop insight and tools that support meaningful change.
What I appreciate most about Angie is the balance she brings into the therapy room. She has a gift for making therapy feel approachable while still helping clients do the deeper work of understanding themselves and creating change.
At Welling Wellness, we believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of the therapy process. Finding a therapist who feels like the right fit matters — someone who listens, understands, and creates a space where you can be fully yourself.
Angie embodies that.
Whether someone is navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, a major life transition, stress, or simply wanting to better understand themselves, Angie brings compassion, warmth, and genuine care to every person she works with.
I am so grateful to have Angie as part of the Welling Wellness team. Her clinical skills, kindness, and the energy she brings to our practice strengthen the experience we hope to create for every client.
If you are looking for a therapist in Baltimore or Maryland who offers compassionate, collaborative, and person-centered care, Angie is someone I am proud to recommend.
